Annual SSL subscriptions and certificate validity
PositiveSSL certificates are issued for approximately six months (up to 199 days). Standard PositiveSSL is $99/year and PositiveSSL Wildcard is $199/year for 12 months of subscription coverage. Reissuance within existing paid coverage does not require another subscription payment. Previously purchased longer coverage retains its existing terms. Reissue, validate as required, and install each replacement before the actual certificate expires. Existing certificates retain their actual expiration date; other providers may use shorter lifetimes.
